COEXPAN-EMSUR BRASIL is awarded FSSC22000 certification


This prestigious certification scheme is only available to companies with a food safety management system that is efficiently implemented and compliant with customer and consumer requirements.

COEXPAN-EMSUR BRASIL has received AENOR certification that guarantees compliance with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an internationally recognized scheme in one of most demanding food safety standards for the production of food contact plastic packaging.

The FSSC 22000 Scheme offers a complete framework for the certification of food safety management systems, providing models that can be used throughout the whole food supply chain, including the production of packaging material under the ISO/TS 22002-4:2013 technical specification.

This prestigious certification has been awarded to the COEXPAN and EMSUR divisions jointly for the manufacture of rigid coextruded plastic sheets and flexible films suitable for food contact. Certainly, this marks the achievement of a new milestone thanks to the commitment of the technical department of COEXPAN and EMSUR and backed by the major investment plan that is under way in the company.

Furthermore, the COEXPAN Division is implementing a global external certification program, which represents one of the key pillars of its Global Quality Management Plan.

With this certification, COEXPAN, the Grupo Lantero Division that specializes in rigid sheets and thermoformed packaging, again highlights its total commitmentto creating products that meet the highest standards of safety and quality, complying both with legal requirements and customer specifications as well as caring for environment.
