Madrid, 4th June 2021 – Next week, 9-11th June 2021, CCOEXPAN-EMSUR will participate in the CFIA 2021 edition held in Rennes. The two main packaging divisions of Grupo Lantero, represented by their French production sites Coexpan France, Coexpan Formplast, Coexpan FSP and Emsur France SPO will showcase their latest packaging developments.
CFIA Rennes is the only event in France to offer such a diverse range of products, becoming Europe’s benchmark reference show for the agri-food and packaging industry. This event brings together more than 1,600 exhibitors from all over the world, representing the entire food-processing sector. After the impact of the health crisis, this 24th edition of CFIA will be focusing on the resumption of business and trade.
The latest innovations to be showcased during this three-day fair are fully aligned with our commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles, among others we want to highlight the following new products developed at Innotech:
-COEXSHIELD: The new range of smart and active packaging monomaterial trays (PET and PP) for proteins that enhance the shelf life of packed products like meat and fish while ensuring its recyclability.
-EM-Full R-FLEX flexible packaging monolaminate films in PE and PP that gives companies a good compromise in terms of product protection as well as promotion and performance.
This range includes as well paper-based laminates, special formulation with a barrier protects food contents, and packaging remains recyclable in the paper stream.
-Retort Pack: New PP high barrier rigid cups for retortable applications. This monomaterial solution for long shelf life (up to 24 months) and microwaveable applications, comes to replace a non-recyclable recyclable plastic mix pack and heavier alternative materials. Lightweight solution with lower CO2 the retort pack can be combined with oxygen scavenger properties
