COEXPAN, which has two plants in Chile, will be presenting at Latinpack its latest developments in rigid sheets and thermoformed products for fresh foods such as meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, and for ready meals and dairy products, among others. EMSUR, the flexible packaging division with four plants in America, will be represented at Latinpack by EMSUR Argentina, the country’s leading manufacturer of packaging for the dairy industry. Over the two-day event EMSUR will be presenting its flexible packaging solutions for dairy products, snacks and confectionary, personal care and hygiene. The company’s expertise lies in sleeves, multi-layer sheets with medium to high barrier protection, as well as a wide variety of finishes and the muchdemanded OPS wrap-around banderoles.
First printing machine with In Direct Flexo technology in South America, based on the principles of the Circular Economy.
Within the framework of Latinpack tradeshow, COEXPAN Chile announces that it would be incorporating a new printer into its range of machinery. The printer with In Direct Flexo technology is the first of its kind in the American sub-continent and combines the speed of offset printing and the quality of flexography, guaranteeing clear, precise photographic quality printing and generating high-quality, mono-material packaging solutions in line with the principles of the Circular Economy.
Recycled post-consumer PET bottle decontamination systems.
Another of the projects that will be presented by COEXPAN Chile at the next Latinpack tradeshow is a system for decontaminating post-consumer PET obtained from recovered plastic bottles. Raw material cleaning and decontamination technology using EREMA and VACUREMA® machinery to produce clean, dry, dust-free PET flakes to make new rigid sheets and bottles apt for direct food contact, a technology that has been approved by the USA FDA and the European Union.
