This policy describes the processing of your personal data by COEXPAN, S.A.U., a company with registered office at Avenida de Madrid, 72, 28802 Alcalá de Henares Madrid and tax identification number A-28320984 (the“Company“), through the website https://www.coexpan.com (the“Website“).

For the purposes of applicable data protection legislation (including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR“)), the Company is the controller of the personal data it collects through the Website.

You must be over 18 years of age to provide your personal information to the Company.

For what purposes do we use your personal data?

The Company will process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you and control the correct follow-up of your requests, doubts, complaints or suggestions, when you contact us through any of the existing forms on the Website and/or by sending e-mails to the addresses “@coexpan.com” or through any means of contact published there;

  • To help preserve the surveillance, administration and protection of the Website, its services and functionalities;

  • To customize the Web Site, its services and functionality, and to allow you to participate in interactive elements of our Web Site;

The basis of legitimacy of these treatments is the legitimate interest of the Company in meeting the request of users and manage the Website, the execution of the existing contract between the parties if the communication is related to a contracted product or service, and compliance with legal obligations if the consultation is related to the exercise of rights or the treatment is necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations of the Company.

  • With respect to those users who send their curriculum vitae through the form on the Web Site, to manage their candidacy in order to allow you, in the event that your candidacy fits the profile we are looking for, to participate in the selection processes of the Company or any of the other companies of the Lantero Group.

The basis of legitimacy of this treatment is the pre-contractual relationship (treatment necessary to meet the candidate’s request):

  • We will process your personal data in order to send you commercial communications and/or newsletters regarding our products and services, provided that you have consented to this.

  • With your consent we will also use the personal data we collect through the Website through the use of cookies for profiling based on your browsing habits. You can learn more about what cookies are, what cookies we use and for what purposes by accessing our Cookie Policy.

The basis of legitimacy of these treatments is the consent given by you at the time of providing your data.

With whom do we share your personal data?

Your data may be shared with other companies of the group to which the Company belongs (Lantero Group), for the aforementioned purposes.

As a result of access to information by other Lantero Group entities, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area to the following countries:

  • Argentina, a country for which there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission allowing the international transfer to that country(here you can access the adequacy decision).

  • The United States, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, Russia, and the United States, countries for which there is no adequacy decision. In order to allow the international transfer of data to these countries, we will have signed standard contractual clauses approved by the commission. What rights do I have regarding my personal data?

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation to treatment, opposition and/or portability, in the terms established in the RGPD by contacting the Legal Department of Grupo Lantero, by e-mail to “legal@grupolantero.com”.

We also inform you that, whenever any processing of your personal data is covered by your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by indicating it, following the instructions described in the previous paragraph.

Likewise, and in the event that the Company fails to comply with its legal obligations regarding data protection, you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

How long do we keep your data?

The Company will process personal data for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the corresponding purpose:

  • Data collected as part of your contact with the Company (requests for information, complaints, etc.) or through your browsing on the Website will be processed for as long as necessary to process your request and to manage your use of the Website.

  • If you have agreed to receive advertising from us, we will process your data for this purpose until you withdraw your consent.

  • The personal data of those users who send their curriculum vitae through the form on the Web Site will be kept for the duration of the personnel selection process. In the event that there is no personnel selection process open at the time of sending the curriculum vitae, the data will be kept for one year. The data requested as a result of your status as a finalist candidate will only be stored if the employment contract is formalized and will be managed as part of the processing of your data as an employee”.

Once the specific processing has been completed in accordance with the above, we will subsequently keep the personal data duly stored and protected for as long as liabilities arising from the processing may arise, in compliance with the regulations in force at any given time.

Can the privacy policy be changed?

The Company may change our Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect legislative changes or changes in the way data is handled. In the event that we do so, we may provide notice of changes by various means through the Website (e.g., through a banner, a pop-up), or by sending users an email when the change in question is significant.
